100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bartolucci Vineyard on Dean York Lane in St. Helena

Vineyard
Located at the base of Spring Mountain on the west side of St. Helena, this vineyard has been farmed by the Bartolucci family for three generations. With its well drained soil and gentle slopes, this vineyard is perfect for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaking
The fruit was harvested from October 14th – 25th, with an average Brix of 25.3 degrees. The grapes were pressed off the skins 12-20 days after crushing and the wine was aged in small oak barrels for 20 months.

Aging 
French oak barrels (50% new wood)

Tasting Notes
Ripe red fruit, plum and black cherry, spiced by smoked tea, licorice whips, and dried herbs. Richly structured, with an opulent mid- palate and nicely integrated, plush tannins.
